Hey folks,
Today we're diving into something absolutely foundational - the reality that Jesus Christ is our Creator. This isn't just some abstract theological concept; it's the bedrock of everything we believe and impacts how we view ourselves and the world around us. Let's dial in.
John 1:3 "All things came into being through Him, and apart from Him nothing came into being that has come into being."
Let this land: You are not an accident. You are not a cosmic roll of the dice. You were created - intentionally, purposefully, personally - by Jesus Christ. In a world that wants to reduce you to a clump of cells or just another animal, John issues a profound truth:: absolutely nothing exists that wasn't created by Jesus - YOU were made by Jesus.
Think about this: You live in a world that's finely tuned to support life. The Earth sits in what scientists call the "Goldilocks zone" - not too hot, not too cold, but just right. Our moon stabilizes our axis at exactly 23.5 degrees, giving us our seasons. Jupiter's massive gravitational field protects us from comets and asteroids. Every single detail, from the thickness of Earth's crust to the composition of our atmosphere, has been perfectly calibrated by the One who took on flesh and “dwelt amongst us.”
The probability of all these factors coming together by chance? One scientist calculated it as one in 10 to the power of something with so many trillions after it I can't even pronounce it. And yet people look at this finely tuned universe and say, "What an amazing accident!"
Here's what's at stake: If you remove Jesus as Creator, you lose everything - human dignity, human destiny, rationality, and objective truth. You're left with a worldview that can't explain why human life has value, why we search for meaning, or why we know deep down that some things are right and others are wrong.
But when you understand that Jesus is your Creator, everything changes. Your dignity? It comes from being made in His image. Your purpose? You were created by Him and for Him. Your value? It's not determined by what you contribute to society but by who made you.
How does knowing you were personally created by Jesus change the way you view your worth and purpose?
In what areas of your life do you need to start viewing yourself as intentionally designed rather than accidentally evolved?
Stay dialed in,
